Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Our Response Process
Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will:
- Review the notice to confirm it contains all required elements under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3);
- Promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material, typically within 48 hours;
- Notify the user or content provider who posted the material, if applicable;
- Take reasonable steps to notify the affected party that the material has been removed.
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed or disabled in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which it appeared before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original takedown notice.
Restoration of Content
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days, unless our designated agent first receives notice from the copyright owner that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We also reserve the right to remove any content and terminate access for any user who repeatedly posts infringing material.
